The new AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G features Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for extremely quiet autofocusing, and incorporate the now standard Nano Crystal Coat on the professional range of optics from Nikon.

The extra wide maximum aperture of f/1.4 promises the kind of bokeh that is much sought after by the portrait photographers, but now with the added 9 blades rounded diaphragm.
