Nikon has just announced the AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR, a consumer zoom lens for the DX form factor SLR.
This is the first interchangeable lens to utilise a high refractive index (HRI) lens element, which allows for a more compact and lightweight size, as well as offering pleasing rendering performance.

Nikon has just announced the D3S Digital SLR, a high speed version of their highly acclaimed flagship D3 Digital SLR.
The D3S is targeted at the professional photographers who demand high speed responses, especially for sporting and action photography.
The D3S also incorporates 720p HD video recording with its full frame FX sensor. High ISO performance has been boosted to an incredible 12800, and ISO 102400 in the Hi 3 mode.

Nikon has just announced their first DX macro lens, suitable for all DX format Nikon DSLR.
The lens incorporates the latest VR II vibration reduction system, Silent Wave Motor for quiet and efficient auto focus, ED lens elements for high contrast, and has a reproduction ration of 1:1 and closest focusing distance of 28.6cm. The 35mm equivalent focal length is 127.5mm when used on DX format DSLR.
