Nikon has just announced an updated version of the AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 lens, incorporating the latest VR II vibration reduction system, Nano Crystal Coating, and a new A/M focus mode which prevents accidental switching from autofocus to manual focus.

Nikon D3S DSLR

Nikon has just announced the D3S Digital SLR, a high speed version of their highly acclaimed flagship D3 Digital SLR.

The D3S is targeted at the professional photographers who demand high speed responses, especially for sporting and action photography.
The D3S also incorporates 720p HD video recording with its full frame FX sensor. High ISO performance has been boosted to an incredible 12800, and ISO 102400 in the Hi 3 mode.

Nikon has just announced their first DX macro lens, suitable for all DX format Nikon DSLR.
The lens incorporates the latest VR II vibration reduction system, Silent Wave Motor for quiet and efficient auto focus, ED lens elements for high contrast, and has a reproduction ration of 1:1 and closest focusing distance of 28.6cm. The 35mm equivalent focal length is 127.5mm when used on DX format DSLR.

A second lens introduced at the same time as the Canon EOS 7D DSLR is the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS.
This is an APS-C crop factor lens, with a 35mm equivalent focal range is 29-216mm. Filter diameter is 67mm, overall weight is 455g.

Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

In conjunction with the EOS 7D DSLR announcement, Canon has also introduced the new EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, an APS-C format zoom lens.
The lens has an effective 35mm equivalent focal range of 24-136mm. Closest focusing distance is maintained at 0.35m throughout the entire zoom range. Filter diameter is 72mm.
