Nikon has finally announced the much anticipated update to the legendary 85mm f/1.4 mid telephoto lens. The new AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G features Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for extremely quiet autofocusing, and incorporate the now standard Nano Crystal Coat on the professional range of optics from Nikon.
The extra wide maximum aperture of f/1.4 promises the kind of bokeh that is much sought after by the portrait photographers, but now with the added 9 blades rounded diaphragm.

Nikon has just announced the D3S Digital SLR, a high speed version of their highly acclaimed flagship D3 Digital SLR.
The D3S is targeted at the professional photographers who demand high speed responses, especially for sporting and action photography.
The D3S also incorporates 720p HD video recording with its full frame FX sensor. High ISO performance has been boosted to an incredible 12800, and ISO 102400 in the Hi 3 mode.
